Business visa application support for the Schengen Area and the UK

Short-stay business visa preparation for meetings, conferences, trade fairs and client visits, including invitation letters and company documentation.

A business visa is judged on the credibility of the business reason as much as on the traveller. The invitation letter, the relationship between the two companies and the funding arrangement have to line up. Most refusals in this category come from a thin invitation letter, not from a weak applicant.

What is included

  • Invitation letter drafted or reviewed against what the consulate expects to see
  • Company documentation set assembled — registration, GST or VAT, financials
  • Multiple-entry justification prepared where the travel is recurring
  • Conference or trade fair registration evidenced
  • Appointment booking, including business-priority slots where the consulate offers them
  • Travel booked around the decision date rather than ahead of it

Documents usually required

Indicative. The binding list is the one we send you for your specific consulate, because these change and they differ by post.

  • Invitation letter from the host company
  • Employer letter confirming role, salary and leave
  • Company registration and financial documents
  • Proof of the business relationship
  • Passport and travel history
  • Travel insurance

How long it takes

Several consulates operate expedited channels for business travellers and chamber of commerce members. We check whether one applies to you before booking a standard slot.

What it costs

Service fee per traveller, with corporate rates for volume. Consulate and visa centre fees are paid directly.

Questions about business and work visas

Can I get a multiple-entry Schengen visa for regular business travel?

Multiple-entry visas of increasing validity are available under the Visa Code to applicants with a documented history of lawful use of previous visas. The case has to be argued in the application with the travel history attached; it is not granted by default.

Can I attend a paid engagement on a business visa?

Generally no. Short-stay business visas cover meetings, negotiations, training and conferences, not paid work in the host country. Paid activity usually needs a work authorisation, and getting this wrong has consequences beyond the trip.
