Schengen tourist visa application support

Preparation and filing support for a short-stay Schengen visa covering France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and the other Schengen states, including the appointment booking and the full document set.

A short-stay Schengen visa allows up to 90 days of travel in any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. Applications are made to the consulate of your main destination, or of your first entry point if you are spending equal time in several countries. Each consulate publishes its own checklist and its own appointment system, and those checklists change without notice.

What is included

  • Deciding which consulate your application must go to, and why
  • A written document list matched to that consulate's current published checklist
  • Completed application form, reviewed line by line against your supporting documents
  • Appointment booking at the consulate or its outsourced visa centre
  • Cover letter, itinerary and confirmed accommodation and flight bookings
  • Travel insurance meeting the €30,000 medical cover requirement
  • A pre-submission review that flags anything a visa officer is likely to query

Documents usually required

Indicative. The binding list is the one we send you for your specific consulate, because these change and they differ by post.

  • Passport valid 3 months beyond return, with 2 blank pages
  • Recent photographs to ICAO specification
  • Proof of employment or business ownership
  • Bank statements for the last 6 months
  • Income tax records
  • Confirmed return travel and accommodation
  • Travel medical insurance

How long it takes

Consulates typically publish a 15 calendar day decision target, extendable to 45 days. Appointment availability, not processing, is usually the constraint — plan on booking 4 to 8 weeks ahead in peak season.

What it costs

Service fee quoted per applicant. Consulate fees, visa centre service charges and biometric fees are set by the authorities and paid directly by the applicant.

Questions about visitor and tourist visas

Which country should I apply to if I am visiting three Schengen countries?

You apply to the country where you will spend the most nights. If the nights are equal across countries, you apply to the country you enter first. Applying to the wrong consulate is one of the most common reasons an application is returned unprocessed.

Can TRAVIGLOB guarantee my Schengen visa will be approved?

No. The decision belongs entirely to the consulate, and no agency anywhere can guarantee it. What we do is make sure the file that reaches the visa officer is complete, internally consistent and matched to the current checklist, and we tell you before you pay if we think the profile is likely to be refused on the current rules.

Do I need to book flights before applying for a Schengen visa?

You need a confirmed itinerary, not a paid ticket. We arrange a reservation that satisfies the requirement without committing you to a fare before the decision is made.
